I organized a 3-day design sprint in the LA office to foster alignment and brainstorming among different squads within the News organization. Around 10 participants, including product and content designers, user researchers, product managers, and engineers, took part. I also invited our news GM and SVP of Design to establish context and offer feedback during the final presentation.

At the end of the sprint, we have more than 30 new ideas and all were left with an actionable cards for the team to refine and prioritize.
After the design sprint, product leaders come up with three pillars for the team to move forward. From there, I expanded some of these ideas into more detailed design and protoytpes. Here are some of the examples that I've developed and presented to teams and leadership.
This is an initative called storyline that was develop after the design sprint. The goal is to serve a package of key information so that readers don't have to find what they need from many different places, like social media, search, websites etc. It saves people's time and eleminate the feeling of information overload.
